Maesybidiau is a small beat with the lower part hard to fish as it is in a gorge, the top part is open and accessible and in 2001 produced the club record sea trout of 16 odd pounds. there is a bit of a climb up a steep hill to get back to the car but it is worth it when there is a little water in the river – it is a good pausing place for large salmon and sea trout on their journey upriver.
